Extended Day
About the Program
The Extended Day Program at the Opportunity Charter School takes place directly after school and is an extension of the experience we cultivate daily within OCS. Through this program students continue to learn through a variety of activities and hands on experiences. Whether it is through sports, games, chess, dance, music, or technology, the OCS Extended Day Program provides a safe and enjoyable environment for its students. The Extended Day Program offers students structured academic support and extracurricular time. Students receive academic assistance in the areas of ELA and mathematics, followed by an array of fun-filled enrichment activities including Art, Photography, Hip Hop Dance, Theater, Hair Braiding, Karate, Defensive Driving (in class), and Magic.
